Colours that you only find in imaginations have now come into life!
Porcelain, as mentioned in other journals, is in simple terms a digital print of a natural stone design, that is laid upon a stone base. Therefore, you can achieve whatever kind of design or colour that you want. Previously, before porcelain tiles started developing this far, it was near impossible to create any specifically vibrant colours, and so it was difficult for any customer to create a home exactly how they had built it in their imagination. Nevertheless, technology moved on, and porcelain tiles have progressed so far in development, that nowadays, manufacturers can achieve nearly any colour that they can imagine, and so customers are much more likely to find a colour that exactly matches their preference and their room furniture. There are many trends now within the industry and within the tiles market, and there is a high demand for new vibrant colours that make homes quite unique and exclusive.
A new pattern that we have spotted in the market is that customers want to use Green tiles. Green is a very broad word, as Green has so many different shades, and it is a sort of colour that appears to be very different when under bright light (either an LED or sunlight) compared to when it is in the shade, and this is what appeals to customers. The fact that they can have green tiles, and still be able to buy a whole range of furniture that is in completely different shades of Green yet be able to achieve a nice uniform look without having too much of the same colour in a room sounds fascinating and looks really appealing. Green tiles are being manufactured in all sorts of shapes and sizes, from 60X60 tiles all the way to full jumbo (3.2m X 1.6m) sized slabs of porcelain. You can also find a wide range of designs in Green…not only are they manufactured in Calacatta and Carrara ranges, but you will find them in web designs, onyx designs, watercolour designs, and many more styles, as people find them specifically beautiful on a certain canvas and manufacturers feel the urge to cater for all of that. However, if you are still against the idea of having a whole room brushed in Green, then you can still match many other colours with your green tiles, most popular of which is Brown. You can create a stunning atmosphere by having green tiles around the entire room, but having Brown porcelain slab on top of a fireplace for example, just as a feature, to make it stand out and to bring out the true beauty of the Green colour in your tiles. To make sure that you achieve this, it is always best to go for a contrasting shade, as in if you were to go for light green tiles, then we would recommend you get a Dark Brown slab, and vice versa applies as well.
Yellow is another colour that may match with the Green, depending on the various shades, but it will also compliment a whole load of other colours and that is part of the reason why this uncommon colour is becoming a popular trendy choice amongst buyers. However, unlike the green tiles, yellow is not often found used in a whole room, but rather as a feature wall, such as a small section behind the shower, bed or behind the TV (depending on what room it is being installed into). It may also be mixed in with other colours, for example you can find tiles that have a spiral effect, made up of white and yellow, or cream and yellow, and they look glamorous, as they create a beautiful movement in the room, and create a very energising and lively atmosphere in the room. Yellow does not come in a wide variety of shades though, but looking at the positive side of that, when we think of yellow, and when we see it in porcelain, it is nearly the exact same colour gradient as we imagined it to be, and so you can achieve beautiful outcomes as you wish.
The demand for pink tiles is increasing significantly as well, and that is because pink is a very warm and subtle colour, that looks great without making the room seem like a kid’s playground, as other colours may do. This is because the pink used on porcelain tends to be a very light and airy sort of pink, and that matches with many Gold, Bronze or even Chrome colours around the house. Pink can be used a feature wall, but thanks to its subtle colour, it can also be used to fill a whole room, especially when it is on a tile with an onyx or a Calacatta design, meaning that it is mixed in with other colours, to create a colourful feel within the room. Many people also tend to go for a pink floor, and for the wall cladding, they use the same tile with the same design and same size, but instead with Gold or even cream in-lays, which will really work well with the Pink on the floor.
Therefore, we can see that the market is saturated with all the different types of colours that customers can imagine. We mentioned the three that we have noticed are on the rise in terms of popularity and trendiness, but there are loads of other colours that you may not even be able to think. Therefore, when shopping around for tiles, make sure you look around well, and find the tile that is exactly right for you. Make sure that you are aware of how the tile looks like in various settings (such as under light or behind certain pieces of furniture), and also, make sure that the other tiles in the room go well with the exclusive colour that you want to choose to make your home more unique, in order to continue the flow of colours around.
